Miami Book Fair International

Had a great time in Miami this weekend. The book fair was a huge success for all the authors involved. I hung close by the tent where my book was on display, just to see what type of reaction, if any, the book would receive. The Author Solutions tents were located on the main street- E 2nd Ave- which was awesome. Lots and lots of foot traffic. There were a number of elementary school field trips in attendance, and I assume that because of the turquoise color of the book cover, coupled by the word “Bugs”  in the title, there were A LOT of kids that gravitated toward my book. I was truly amazed and concerned at the same time. I kept saying to myself: “Put it down, kid. That is definitely NOT a children’s book!”  

But overall, the event was well organized and fun to attend. Maybe we’ll do it again next year.
